Antero is the Founder and Managing Director of CorkEco Solutions Group.

He works across construction, design, and industry to support the use of cork as a low-carbon, high-performance material in the built environment.

Through CorkEco Solutions Group, he leads the development and delivery of cork-based systems, including cork boards and spray cork, focused on thermal performance, acoustic comfort, durability, and vapour-open building fabric design. His work spans construction, energy, transport, and architectural applications, with a strong emphasis on retrofit, sustainability, and long-term building performance.

Alongside this, he leads Corkstyle, the group’s consumer and design-led brand, supplying sustainable cork products for homes, workplaces, and organisations, including bespoke and customised solutions.

As a founder, Antero sets the strategic direction of the group, shaping how CorkEco balances technical rigour, commercial realism, and environmental responsibility. His approach is system-led rather than product-led, grounded in building physics, material compatibility, and real-world delivery.

He is open to conversations around collaboration, training, research, speaking, and partnerships connected to the wider CorkEco Solutions offering.

Nicholas Darlington

Group Business Development Lead

Nicholas Darlington is the Group Business Development Lead at CorkEco Solutions Group.

He is responsible for driving commercial growth and expanding market presence across the organisation. With a strong background in business development, outbound sales and relationship building, Nicholas focuses on generating new opportunities and laying the foundations for long-term customer partnerships.

Drawing on extensive experience in B2B sales, customer engagement and pipeline development, Nicholas leads front-end commercial activity, engaging decision-makers across construction, retrofit and commercial sectors. His role centres on identifying unmet needs, qualifying opportunities and connecting prospective clients with low-carbon cork-based insulation solutions that deliver both environmental and commercial value.

Before joining CorkEco Solutions Group, Nicholas held senior commercial roles across recruitment, hospitality and operations-led businesses, giving him a practical understanding of how organisations buy, operate and scale. This hands-on experience allows him to approach business development with a consultative mindset — aligning sustainability-driven solutions with real-world operational challenges.

At CorkEco Solutions Group, Nicholas plays a key role in expanding the company’s footprint in the UK market, supporting the adoption of cork-based insulation systems and circular retrofit solutions. His focus is simple: to open meaningful conversations, build trust early in the sales journey, and help position cork as a credible, scalable alternative for a more sustainable built environment..

Adam Hallmark

Lead Installer & Applicator Trainer

Adam Hallmark is the Lead Installer and Applicator Trainer at CorkEco Solutions Group, with specialist expertise in spray cork and cork board insulation systems.

He leads on-site delivery, overseeing installation teams and ensuring systems are applied correctly, safely, and in line with design intent and performance requirements. His role is central to maintaining quality, consistency, and reliability across all CorkEco projects.

As the group’s lead trainer for applicators, Adam develops and delivers practical, hands-on training focused on preparation, application technique, detailing, and sequencing under real site conditions. His training approach is grounded in repeatable methods that reduce risk and support long-term system performance.

Adam’s experience provides a strong link between system design and on-site execution, helping ensure cork insulation systems are delivered to a high standard and perform as intended over their full service life. He is a founding member of the CorkEco Solutions Group delivery team, and has been closely involved in shaping the group’s installation standards and applicator training approach from the outset.
